High-Performance Lower Control Arms
The stock lower control arms on your Tacoma or 4Runner get the job done, but when you lift your vehicle and need more robust, more reliable LCAs the Camburg Performance Lower Control Arm Kit is a considerable upgrade. Camburg designed the LCAs for maximum usable wheel travel and correct shock motion ratio geometry. The LCAs feature internal gusseting and FK 1″ uniballs with 1.5″ uniball spacers that have zero flex under braking, so your alignment is always consistent. The spindle is attached to the uniball with a Mil-Spec 21250 NAS 12-point aircraft bolt that is rated at 180,000 psi minimum tensile strength and 108,000 psi minimum shear strength, making it the most reliable bolt available. The bump stop version of the LCAs allows you to run the factory rubber bump stops or upgrade to air bumps with some minor fabrication and modification. Incredible, Tough Construction
The CAD/CAM engineered LCAs are more durable than the sheet metal stock LCAs that come in your Tacoma or 4Runner. The stock lower ball-joint is weak, which is why Camburg replaces it with the FK 1″ uniball at the spindle for maximum strength and articulation. The spindle taper doesn’t require any modification because the uniball adapts to the tapered ball-joint spindle bore using machined, heat-treated, stainless-steel misalignment spacers that can withstand the harshest off-road applications. The LCAs are CAD designed and laser-cut, and CNC-formed for precision and quality. For additional strength, the arms are entirely MIG welded and given a gray powder coat finish to protect against corrosion and debris. Camburg includes all necessary installation instructions and hardware and is proud to make their parts right here in the USA.
